Upholstery fabrics come in a variety of styles and categories. After choosing the right upholstery fabric, you can start your day in a relaxed atmosphere while sitting at home. Decorative fabrics are good-looking, but some fabrics are not resistant to dirt and difficult to clean. The people concerned put forward their own opinions on the cleaning of daily decorative fabrics, and gave the classification and cleaning of different furniture fabrics.

Wall cloth: You can use a semi-wet clean towel to wipe the part with dirt, and clean up the stained part in time, and use a washing machine to properly clean it. Be careful not to damage the seams of the wall cloth when wiping.

Curtains: Ordinary curtains fabric  can be scrubbed with a damp cloth, and fabrics that are easy to shrink should be dry cleaned as much as possible. Curtains made of canvas or linen are best wiped with a sponge dipped in warm water or soap solution, and rolled up after drying. When cleaning velvet curtains, you should first soak the curtains in a neutral cleaning solution, press lightly with your hands, wash them, and place them on a shelf to allow the water to drip dry naturally.

Bedding: cotton fabrics do not use detergents containing bleach, soaking time is generally not more than half an hour, and the water temperature does not exceed 30 ℃. Silk wool detergent is recommended for silk, silk floss and soybean fiber. Wool and cashmere should be avoided from soaking for a long time, and detergents containing biological enzymes should not be used. Silk, bamboo fiber, and chemical fiber cannot be soaked in high-temperature water, and cannot be dried during machine washing. Do not iron the surface of velvet fabrics. When washing linen products, do not rub or twist too hard.

Sofa: Clean it once every half a year. You can use a special cleaning agent for sofa or carpet. Use a clean white cloth to dip a small amount of the agent. Wipe the dirty place repeatedly until the stain is removed. Do not scrub with a lot of water to prevent water from seeping into the inner layer of the sofa. It is best to start from the outside of the stain. Velvet furniture should not be dipped in water, dry cleaning should be used. If there is a large area of stains, it should be cleaned by a professional.
